The OpenQAsS intends to develop an open source Quality Assurance (QA) Toolkit, a generic, but extensible solution, with a common core that includes the EQAVET Reference Framework focal points and indicators. The open source model is important for the long term and sustainability of the work of the project - to derive the maximum impact from the research. Only this model will ensure the flexibility to follow the always changing legal environment of the vocational education, and to fit the demands of the different organisations of the VET sector, like VET schools and adult educational training centres.
In the third working phase the consortium elaborated a coherent System Plan with detailed user and system specification. This System Plan guided the implementation of the prototype of the OpenQAsS Toolkit. The initial implementation will be supported by rigorous technical and user acceptance testing, involving the internal team and representatives of the target groups and the target organisations.
